SEEDING MEETING

Our goal is to create divisions of equally talented teams so that games can be competitive on a weekly basis.

Our system allows for each team to have an input in their placement and the make-up of their division.

SEEDING PROCEDURE:

Teams will be pre-seeded by the Heartland Staff.  The Pre-seeding will then be posted on the heartland website. 

We will provide our reason/justification for either promoting or relegating teams.

Teams will then be provided 1 week to request specific changes by e-mail.  Teams are encouraged to monitor the seeding list for the whole week as it will be a fluid list until the final seeding meeting.

Final team placements will be determined at the seeding meeting on February 2nd.  Teams may be moved up or down at this seeding meeting.  We recommend, therefore, that a representative of "bubble" type teams attend the seeding meeting.

Decisions made by our staff and the team coaches at the seeding meeting will be final.

The League Commissioner will make the final decisions in any unresolved issues.
