Referee: Current Pay Problems  

Please contact the Heartland office regarding any pay issues. Field Managers and Referee Assignor are not involved in handling referee pay.

How to submit a Pay problem to Heartland:
  • When contacting the office by phone at 913.888.8768 or
    e-mail (preferred method), please provide the following:
    1. Game #
    2. Your ID #
    3. Field location and #
    4. Game Time and
    5. Team #’s involved (if possible)
       
  • Heartland pays off the game cards. So if you are not listed as Center or Assistant on the card, you will not get paid for that game.
     
  • All pay to sit referees must be approved by Mary Ann Hilgers (Heartland's Referee Assignor)
  • Most of the pay problems last season were due to:
    • Wrong referee ID #
    • Game Card was not completed with all referees who worked that game
    • Illegible handwriting and
    • Game cards not turned in by referee
       
  • If you are offered anything other than regular pay as incentive to come out, you MUST get Mary Ann’s signature on the game card. Otherwise you will receive regular pay for the game(s) in question


     
  • Heartland office must have an updated W-9 (each year) and you completed Referee Application/Availability (each season) on file to be paid after the 2nd pay period.
