Heartland Soccer Association is one of the largest and most successful youth     soccer leagues in the nation. With 820 league teams and more than 12,000 players, 500 coaches, 600   referees, and an       average of 6           tournaments per year, HSA is dedicated to young athletes and their future success.

      Each season HSA continues to grow     immensely, thanks to all of our dedicated players, coaches, staff and sponsors. 2011 marked the largest number of teams in HSA’s history.

      Heartland Soccer Association wants to thank the soccer     community for its ongoing support, and congratulate all of our 820 league teams and

tournament teams that participated in 2011. We look forward to another successful year in 2012!

LARGEST TOURNAMENT IN

KANSAS CITY HISTORY

     Heartland Soccer     Association is proud to announce the              Heartland Invitational Tournament (HIT) which HSA hosted in                   November, 2011. It was the largest soccer           tournament in the history of Kansas City.

    The Heartland     Invitational            welcomed 236 girls’ teams and 249 boys’ teams. With a total of 9 states represented at the tournament, there

were an estimated 15,000 visitors over the course of 2 weekends.

    “Heartland Soccer Association continues to grow with every     season. The participation and competition of the Heartland            Invitational is incredible,” stated Shane Hackett, Executive Director.  “HSA is proud to be a part of such a thriving soccer community. I

want to thank everyone, not only for making this a success, but for making it the largest tournament ever.”
