The USSSA Championship Series is excited to be heading into Kansas City, Lake Tahoe, Wisconsin Dells and Des Moines this year to celebrate the U.S. Soccer Centennial.
USSSA is a member of U.S. Soccer and will be holding tournaments around the country to celebrate 100 years of U.S. Soccer.
Outside of playing in the tournament, teams will participate in an opening ceremony, centennial festivities and receive a centennial gift and souvenir program.
The USSSA Des Moines Cup
This tournament is open to all members of USSF and is designed as an alternative state, regional and national championship series, divisions included are youth U7-19.
Format and fees
- U7-8 4v4 $200 DI, II, III, and recreational divisions offered
- U9-10 6v6 $325 DI, II, III, and recreational divisions offered
- U11-12 8v8 $375 DI, II, III and recreational divisions offered
- U13-19 11v11 $475 DII, III and recreational divisions offered
All divisions will have a three (3) game minimum and trophies and awards will be given for winners and finalists. Game MVP's will be awarded in all tournament games.
Important information with regards to USYSA teams participating in USSSA Event
In some states USYSA will not provide any insurance for their teams during this tournament or release players for travel purposes, USSSA does not require travel authorization for the event. USSSA will provide all teams entering the tournament regardless of affiliation, with insurance for the weekend at no additional cost. As a registered team through your membership and under U.S. Soccer bylaws, you have the right to attend any event you wish.
