Skills Challenge USA, along with Heartland Soccer to host dribble, pass, and shoot competition for all ages May 25, 2024
Soccer enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the Skills Challenge USA event at Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex on May 25, 2024. This exciting competition promises to put players’ dribbling, passing, and shooting abilities to the test in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
From 10am to 2pm, participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in a variety of challenges, including dribbling, passing, and shooting competitions. Whether racing against the clock through the slalom course or demonstrating precision with a tight zone pass, competitors will enjoy a thrilling experience. Awards will be presented to the top players in each division: U6-U12, U13-14, U15-16, U17-19, and Adult/Open.
“We’re excited to bring back the Skills Challenge to the Memorial Day weekend lineup, offering an enjoyable and competitive event for soccer enthusiasts in the region,” said Shane Hackett, executive director of the Heartland Soccer Association. “It’s an excellent opportunity for players to showcase their talents and compete against other skilled individuals.”
With a registration fee of $20 per player, individuals gain access to all challenges. Coaches are encouraged to bring their teams before or after their games to enjoy friendly competition and camaraderie, with discounted rates available for team registrations. The event is scheduled to take place at the Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex on May 25, 2024. Attendees can compete anytime from 10 am to 2 pm. While online registration is encouraged, walk-up registrations are also welcome.
