OVERLAND PARK & OLATHE, Kan., Aug. 27, 2025 – Heartland Soccer Association, the largest youth soccer tournament and league host in the U.S., will continue its partnership with Prairiefire as the title sponsor of the Heartland Midwest Classic.
The Heartland Midwest Classic, presented by Prairiefire, takes place Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29–31, at the Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex and Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex. More than 170 teams from eight states are expected, generating an estimated $2.85 million in economic impact for the Kansas City region.

All matches at Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex will be live streamed via VidSport, the world’s largest fixed AI camera installation at a soccer-specific facility, offering fans access from any device and individual player highlights for recruitment and game review.
Media are invited to cover the event, which begins Friday at 5:30 p.m., with games continuing Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m.
Following the Heartland Midwest Classic, Heartland Soccer will host the Midwest All Boys and Midwest All Girls Tournaments, followed by the Heartland Invitational Tournaments, which are expected to draw more than 1,200 teams from across the Midwest.
