Heartland Soccer Association, America’s Largest Soccer League, is proud to announce the 2020/2021 Winter Outdoor League to be played on world class turf at GARMIN Olathe Soccer Complex and SCHEELS Overland Park Soccer Complex.
Age groups have been expanded to include both Boys and Girls U9 to U19 divisions. The league features six outdoor games from December to the end of February. With the recent mild winters in Kansas City, teams can continue to train and play outdoors.
Games will be played on weekends with occasional weeknight games based on field availability. Flexibility in scheduling allows teams to participate in both futsal and indoor leagues, along with accommodating out of town teams.
With COVID-19 restrictions, a larger than normal number of teams are expected to play outdoor this winter so teams should register as early as possible and secure their spot by November 1, 2020.
Key benefits of playing with Heartland Outdoor Winter League are:
- Continue to play outdoors.
- Allows for better transition from winter to the spring season.
- Helps teams stay in shape throughout the winter months.
- Play under lights.
- Allows teams who are participating in winter tournaments to stay sharp.
- Inexpensive entry fee.
- All out of state teams can play 3 or 4 games on 1 weekend.
- Flexible Scheduling.
